Before even the first piece of metal is cut, the engineering team design every aspect of the trailer or body, modelling in our 3D CAD system. Once they are satisfied with the design and options chosen, the manufacturing process begins. Our team of expert fabricators lay out the main modules of the trailer with the high-specification steels used cut to match the digital designs. The main modules are welded together, then the final seam welding is carried out before the finished frames go to be shotblasted, to give the cleanest finish and the best key for the 2-Pack paint system. All of this work is completed before fitment of any mechanical components, to prevent contamination and ensure maximum reliability. Once painted, the frames are fitted with axles and ramps as appropriate, before hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical wiring are installed. Flooring follows next, just before the functionality checks that are part of the pre-delivery inspection each trailer goes through to ensure it meets our exacting quality standards.
